LET'S
START!!!
First you will make
the sole.
Work
in round.
Start
by making 10 chains.
1st round:
Make
dc in the third chain from the hook, make another 6 dc in next 6 ch, make 4 dc
in last ch, make 7 dc on the other side of foundation chain, join with slst in
ch 2 space from beginning.
2nd round:
Ch
1, make 2 sc in each next 2 dc from previous round, 1 sc in next 4 dc, 2 sc in each
next 6 dc, 5 sc, 2 sc in next dc, 2 sc in slst, slst in first sc from beginning.
3rd round:
Ch
1, make 2 sc in each next 3 sc from previous round, 6 sc, *1 hdc in next sc, 2 hdc
in next sc (repeat from * 4 more times), 1 hdc, 6 sc, 2 sc in the each next 2
sc, 2 sc in slst, slst in first sc from beginning. Fasten off.
UPPER
PART:
Row 1: Attach contrasting
color and make ch 1, go around the sole making sc, slst in the ch 1 from the beginning.
In this row and rows 2 and 3 you should have 38 stitches. (don’t count slst and
chain)
To
make the first row of the upper part follow the pictures:
Row 2 and 3: Ch 1, 1 sc in
every stitch around, slst
in the ch 1 from the beginning.
Row 4: Ch 1, 1 sc in next
28 stitches, ch 1, turn your work, skip one stitch, 1 hdc in next, skip one, 1
hdc in next, skip one, 1 dc in next, skip one, 1 dc in next, skip one, 1 tr in
next, skip one, 1 dc in next, skip one, 1 dc in next, skip one, 1 hdc in next,
skip one, 1 hdc in next, ch 1, turn, insert your hook through the next stitch
(the last hdc that you made) yarn over, pull through, *insert hook through the
next stitch, yarn over, pull through, repeat from * until you have 10 loops on
the hook, yarn over, pull through all 10 loops on the hook, yarn over, pull
through and tighten as much as you can, make 2 slst, 1 sc in every stitch to
the end (you will have 10 sc until the end of the row), slst in the ch 1 from the
beginning.
Row 5: Ch 1, 1 sc in next
10 stitches, ch 7, 1 sc in last 10 stitches from previous row, slst in the ch 1
from the beginning. Fasten off.
Now
turn the bootie and make the row of sc through the last row of the sole holding
only one strand of yarn. Make 1 sc in first stitch, 2 sc in next, *1 sc in
next, 2 sc in next, repeat from * to the end, slst in the 1st sc
from the beginning. Fasten off.
For
the blue ones I tied a button, and for the pink ones I made a tiny flower holding
only one strand of yarn and tied it with the bead to the bootie.
To make the flower do the
following:
Start with ch 3, dc in 3rd chain from
the hook (first chain that you made, this one is acting like a magic ring so
you will be able to tighten it at the end), ch 2, sc into that first chain
again (make all stitches in first chain), *ch 2, 1 dc into the chain, ch 2, sc
into the chain, repeat from * 4 more times.
Pull the starting tail as hard as you
can to tighten the flower.
Fasten off and tie a knot.
Wave in all ends and you are done! I
hope you enjoyed it!
